What is the best possible method to smash a fresh leather work boots?

I have brought for myself a new leather work boots but even when the size is right, after wearing them for a while I started feeling very uneasy so that I have to put them off. So I want to know how to make them comfortable in my legs.

HollywoodMom 		I will suggest that you should wear your new boots as long as your feet start feeling uneasy, and then wear your old boots. The next day wear your new boots for a little longer and then again move over to the old ones. Repeat this procedure day after day until your feet feels comfortable with your new boots. If you got your boot of right size then you don’t have to repeat this for too long.

It is also said that leather softens with heat so you can also leave them in sun for a while.

jonathancrisp 		As soon as you wear these boots just for a while you will feel very much uncomfortable and no one needs to answer this question. Other then that bends your shoe where you normally bend it and cover the tape around it just like a baseball glove.
